We are located on the west bank of the Hudson River almost half-way between New York City and Albany in the southeast corner of Ulster County. We are centered in the Hudson Valley fruit growing region.

Earliest extant Jewish residence in America. Began as trading post in 1714, enlarged by merchants, patriots, farmers, craftsmen and statesmen. Partially restored paper mill. Listed on National Register of Historic Places. Furnishings, decorative arts, library.

Our Town borders the beautiful Hudson River and also is readily accessible via the nearby New York State Thruway and U. S. Route 84.
