Ice Caves Mountain - Ice Caves of the Shawangunks - Ellenville Ice Caves

Several hiking trails allow exploration of this scenic area. Highlights of the preserve include Sam's Point, Verkeerder Kill Falls, Indian Rock, and crossing the "Badlands" on the High Point Trail. The Ice Caves previously accessible to the public as part of the former Ice Caves Mountain attraction, have been reopened following improvements.

A second, more remote area of Ice Caves require a permit to visit. Sam's Point Preserve is located in Cragsmoor, NY. Telephone (845) 647-7989 for more information.
