PRWEB
The Internet has changed the way the world gets its news.
Traditionally, it was necessary to communicate through the media to
reach your target audience. With the increasing number of people
searching for news online, the rules have changed. For ten years, PRWeb
has been providing customers, from small business owners to Fortune-500
companies, with the ability to communicate direct-to-consumer by
placing their news in front of the people who matter - better than
anyone in the industry for a fraction of the cost.
Read Media
readMedia makes press releases effective by getting them to the most
relevant media in the most useful way. Our system has been custom built
to be the most intuitive, useful, and powerful tool for reaching
geographically specific audiences with your news. The readMedia system
goes way beyond simply transmitting releases to static lists of
reporters and editors. Our proprietary media database is constantly
updated, and lists built by our clients are "self repairing"—messages
sent over the readMedia wire don't bounce, and when media contacts
change, your list is automatically updated to reflect that.
Straus Newspapers
Straus Newspapers publishes nine local weekly newspapers in contiguous
towns on the New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania border. Straus Newspapers
traces its roots to 1945 when Nathan Straus, formerly a New York State
Senator and Administrator of the US Housing Authority in the Franklin
Roosevelt Administration purchased WMCA. WMCA was then just one of a
handful of radio stations in New York City at the time. Under his
stewardship, the radio station became well known for its editorializing
and public service campaigns. R. Peter Straus, his son and the current
chairman of Straus Newspapers, Inc. took the helm of the radio station
in 1959 at the age of 35. Over the more than 25 years R. Peter Straus
and his wife Ellen Sulzberger Straus ran the radio station, it was
renowned for its ties to the community, unparalleled public affairs
programming and consistent airing of differing opinions.
Times Herald-Record
About Us The information in this story came from The Times
Herald-Record's archives. It was written by Wade Burkhart, copy desk
chief. The Times Herald-Record is two halves made one. Tracing the
genealogy of the Times-Herald allows a just claim to roots a century
still deeper. The underpinnings of The Times Herald-Record reach all
the way down to the Whig Press, which began publishing in Middletown in
November 1851. Newspaper service to Middletown since then has been
unbroken, despite a complexity of ownership changes and at least one
newspaper war as bitter as that which resulted in The Times
Herald-Record. John Whitbeck Hasbrouck came from Bloomingburg to begin
the Whig Press, and he offered its four pages to the reading public
once every week.
The Press
Your hometown newspaper since 1870. We used to be the Ellenville Press

The Jewish Press
The Jewish Press is the largest independent weekly Jewish newspaper in
the United States. The paper, founded by Rabbi Sholom Klass (1916-2000)
and Mr. Raphael Schreiber (1885-1980), debuted as a national weekly in
January 1960 and quickly won a following for its eclectic mix of Jewish
news, political and religious commentary, and special features --

stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves
and begin broadcasting only in digital. Digital broadcasting will allow
stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional
