The cable industry is one of the more unique fields given its scope of operations and the massive push to migrate from current cable plant-centralized operations platform into a true mobility capability. Cable operators are also pushing for more intelligence at the edge, reducing common tasks’ overhead, and enabling a better real-time, interactive, visual portal that captures domain expertise in a manner that reduces service call times for technicians.
To this end, many cable providers have been pushing IoT devices, smarter routers/boxes, and other options into households and buildings. Despite these efforts, these providers are not realizing the increases in efficiency that they desire. Compounding these challenges is the multi domain communications platforms being deployed – mainly over Internet, Cellular, and Wi-fi – that are resulting in increased cybersecurity challenges.

Within this network, techs can post questions, obtain real-time answers, and even look at visualizations drawn between techs to quickly solve issues. Along these lines, SIMPLE Cable is based on the core ability to enable providers to encapsulate their learnings and domain expertise into visual, reusable, tools that can be proactively pushed to technicians at scale.
